Questions

What's wrong with me?

Finding a likely cause of spinal pain or other discomfort usually starts with a consultation and examination. Similar symptoms can have different drivers from person to person, so a neighbour's diagnosis or plan is not a reliable guide for your own care. Chiropractors assess soft-tissue and joint concerns of the spine and extremities within their scope. If your presentation is outside that scope or better managed by another provider, we will say so and help with an appropriate referral when we can.

How long will it take?

Care length varies by person, condition, and how long symptoms have been present. Newer concerns sometimes settle over fewer visits when assessed early; longer-standing or recurring issues often need more time. Exact timelines cannot be promised without an assessment. Waiting for symptoms to resolve on their own can sometimes mean a more involved recovery later - but only a clinician can advise on your situation.

How much will it cost?

Cost depends on the services recommended for you and how many visits are involved. See our published fee schedule for current rates, and confirm coverage with your insurer. Call the clinic if you need help understanding what to expect before you book.

Do I have to keep coming back for treatments?

No. Care plans are individual. After symptoms improve and goals are met, some patients choose periodic check-ins for prevention or maintenance - similar to other preventive health visits - but that is optional and discussed with you, not required. You decide whether ongoing visits make sense for your goals and budget.

Are chiropractic treatments safe, and do they hurt?

Chiropractic care uses hands-on and related techniques that are generally considered low-risk when provided by a licensed practitioner after appropriate screening. Techniques can be adapted for age and health status. Most visits are comfortable; if you arrive in significant pain, some temporary discomfort during assessment or treatment is possible. Suitability and technique choice are determined individually - no outcome is guaranteed.
