Children & Infants exercises.

Gentle exercises and movement guidance for children and infants to support healthy development, posture, and comfort.

Overview

Children and infants have unique physical needs. Their bodies are still developing, and exercise should focus on encouraging natural movement patterns rather than building strength in the adult sense. These resources cover topics like tummy time for infants, posture awareness for school-age children, and age-appropriate stretching. Parents and caregivers can use these exercises to support healthy physical development and address common concerns like rounded shoulders from device use.

Common questions about children & infants exercises

Are adult exercise videos safe for kids?
Not by default. Children need age-appropriate movement, shorter holds, and different loading. Ask your practitioner before adapting adult drills.
What movement helps infants most?
Supervised tummy time and varied positions during the day support motor development. Stop and seek advice if an infant seems distressed or has known medical restrictions.
When should a child see a chiropractor for posture?
If posture changes are linked to pain, sports injury, headaches, or ongoing device-related discomfort, an assessment can clarify whether care and home guidance are appropriate.
